- Description:
-
The subject of the course is a technical solution design of advanced structures. Structural design project 2 focus on complex approach to practice design, analysis and optimalization of advanced multistorey or long span building structures, or their reconstruction. Analysis of load, functional and technologic requirements, design of load-bearing system alternatives including foundations, preliminary bearing elements dimensions calculation, choice of most suitable version. Preliminary statical design of chosen version, technical report, and drawings.
- Contents:
-
This course does not have lectures.
- Seminar contents:
-
1. Choice of suitable building (architectural study, papers and figures presented in civil engineering and architectural journals etc.), analysis of building and boundary conditions.
2. - 4. Preliminary design of 3 suitable structural systems based on complex analysis of building, choice of optimal variation, analysis and specification of chosen structural system.
5. ? 10. Working design drawings, calculations, and reports for each specialization (Building Structures, Statics, Building Services, Geotechnics), continuous optimalization of load-bearing structure.
